Helena’s Story & Credentials
Helena has a broad background in finance and accounting. She served in the U.S. Army as a Finance Specialist in California and later as an internal auditor in Iraq. She has performed bookkeeping, accounting, and management functions for numerous companies over the years. She has managed as many as 28 staff members and company assets exceeding $5.8 million.
In January 2004, Helena Hamilton founded Legal Tender Bookkeeping & Accounting Service to help small to medium-sized businesses reduce taxes, manage their cash flow, increase profits, and gain a deeper understanding of their financial situation. “My strategy is to provide excellent service, educate my clients so that they can use their accounting books as the financial tool they are meant to be, and to provide value-added services such as free Notary Public service; setting up Internal Controls and tax planning to ensure my clients’ success.” As Zig Ziglar once said, “There’s not a lot you can do about the national economy, but there is a lot you can do about your small business’s economy.”
